V and B
This 29 year-old sailor from Saint-Malo was introduced to sailing by his dad at the early age of 8. From light sailing, he was quickly drawn to ocean races, learning from Multi50 Class skipper Pascal Quintin. Driven by a spirit of adventure and a strong desire to cross the Atlantic alone, this civil engineer completed his first Route de Rhum in 2014, finishing first in the class40 Vintage category. The following year, he finished in second place of the Transat Jacques Vabre. This man of heart has been supporting Vaincre la Mucoviscidose, an association that provides support for patients and their families in every aspect of their lives turned upside down by cystic fibrosis.
Launched at La-Trinité-sur-mer in August 2015, The V and B is one of the newest 40-foot monohulls. Complying with the new Class 40′ monohulls rules, this Mach 40 innovates again with a third version built by JPS Construction according to the plans of the talented Sam Manuard.
