Pierre Antoine is an experienced skipper and a commited scientist. Aged 52, he is a geologist by profession and a regular fixture multihull ocean racing. With 30 years of experience in offshore sailing, he has competed in 7 transatlantic trimaran races including 4 single-handed, such as the Route du Rhum in 1998, 2006 and 2014, the Twostar in 1990, the Transat Saguenay – St-Pierre – Vendée in 2003 and the Transat Québec Saint-Malo in 2008. He has a very good track record with five podium appearances and one win alone.
The only 100% wooden Multi 50 built by Bruno Louit, the Olmix is100% wood-epoxy. It has had many different names and skippers ranking among the greatest in their field. It has won some major races, including the Route du Rhum and the Transat Québec – Saint-Malo. Previously named Gamin, Crêpes Whaou ! and, Imagine … this trimaran has already marked the history of sailing.
